Chip In for Doug
Doug Supple, as our sound and light man, is an integral part of the Pacific Disturbance family. Doug is a well known and respected Valley musician who has hosted jams for many years at various venues and also teaches guitar and runs sound and lights at special events for Sound Advise Music Store.
Doug has been stricken with cancer and is undergoing multiple chemotherapy treatments. He will soon be unable to work and will lose his sources of income at a time when he has the added expense of travel and drugs due to his illness.
Pacific Disturbance will be spearheading fund raising efforts for Doug and will be hosting a benefit concert at the Mex Pub on the weekend of Oct 2-3.
We are putting out a call to musicians to make this a 2 day music extravaganza. Please contact Jerry Leet at 250-334-7444 or email us at PacificDisturbance@shaw.ca to get on the roster.
Fund raising efforts will include a silent auction, raffles and cash donation.
